The needs, capabilities and interests of each individual direct the selection of activities which aim to assist each person to achieve and maintain his/her highest level of independence and function. As the needs of the participants change, the program is revised accordingly.
Service is person-centered, based on an individual’s goals and adapts to their changing interests. Services may be ongoing or time limited. They involve both independent and group activities. Services may have an employment, a social/recreational, or other relevant focus to foster participation as inclusively in an individual’s community.

Salmon Arm is known for its stunning location on Shuswap Lake, making it a summer hub for boating, swimming, and houseboat rentals, plus year-round outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and skiing in the surrounding mountains, and features North America’s longest freshwater wooden wharf, while also having a strong agricultural scene with farms and local produce.
