Communities

Vancouver and Richmond

As directed by an extensive Policy and Procedure manual our ‘group homes’ are designed to support people to live in a safe, welcoming environment, and to make independent decisions.  Staff are supported to focus on person-centred planning, teaching self management skills and supporting people to live healthy wholesome lives.

In Vancouver and Richmond, we have three Adult Community Integration/Access programs: Discovery Bridgeport and Choices: designed to promote community access and inclusion though an array of activities that are based on recreational, exercise, personal interest, ( for example, yoga class, bowling ,hiking and volunteer work) and some individuals have been supported to secure paid employment opportunities.

A Home Share service known as Journey was secured in 2025 and we have plans to expand on this element of service. This model supports an individual(s) to live in his or her own home sharing with a ‘roommate’, who is also the primary support person
