Okanagan (Interior)
The Okanagan is a beautiful gem in the southern interior of BC, well known for its wineries, gorgeous lakes and semi-arid deserts. The summers are hot and provide multiple adventures to partake in: running the rail trail, dining al fresco, hitting up the beautiful beaches among others.
The winters are equally as appealing with two major ski hills and many trails to explore on snowshoe.

Communities
Vernon
Vernon is a vibrant city with a population of approximately 45 000 people. It is located in the north Okanagan and serves as a major hub between Kelowna and Kamloops. It is the trail capital of Canada and boasts many beaches along Kalamalka and Okanagan Lake that provide numerous recreational opportunities such as paddleboarding. Vernon has a large rec center that offers a multitude of programs for people of all abilities. Vernon has something for everyone!
Kelowna
Kelowna is the core of the Okanagan! It has a rapidly expanding population of 166,000 thousand. Kelowna offers a big city feel with a strong sense of community. It boasts over 40 wineries for every wine lover’s taste and has a wonderful nightlife. Many big acts come to perform at Prospera Place! Again, there is no shortages of recreational activities in the Okanagan such as golfing, boating, hiking, and more!
