Kamloops has a population of about 110. 000 people. It is a large city and has many attractions including The British Columbia Wildlife Park and The Secwepemc Museum which highlights a 2000-year-old village! Kamloops has set a strategic goal to become one of Canada’s most progressive, inclusive, and sustainable cities. In 2023, Kamloops announced that the city would work to ensure infrastructure and services would be accessible to all people. Steps to achieve this include the installation of beach access mats and building inclusive playgrounds!
